Rise, a bakery and Squibb, a coffee shop, approached me to create a sign for their new collaboration on the West Side of Grand Rapids. This was my first time painting this high off the ground and it was a great experience. I hand drew the letters in chalk, then painted them. The sign can be viewed from a good distance down the street.
